So AEW have done a TNA they got an old veteran in Chris Jericho as there first ever AEW World Champion just like they did with Kurt Angle as a way to build the company up.
Yeah i get the hole point of getting an old veteran to build the company up but they should put the upcoming young guys over it just makes the company look shit straight away.

He was ALWAYS going to win that. Page was a woeful choice as an opponent. Good worker, not blessed with much charisma, and very little presence about him. Jericho/Omega would've, at least, been a hard one to call.
It sounds like the tag title ladder match stole the show. Unsurprisingly. I was HUGELY unimpressed with the pre-show portion that was on ITV4. Jim Ross sounded sloshed too.
AEW needs to do a LOT more than this to thrive. And stop pandering to the F'N smart fans with all the 1000MPH tiny wrestlers that don't sell a thing.

Aew pre shows suck balls you'd think they would put something good on there to sell the show atleast an angle of some sort for one of the matches later but no another shit battle royal

Agree it was very predictable Jericho winning the match we all knew he was going to win.
But there again i like the fact Page got a title shot it's something that WWE should learn from instead of just giving the same guys title shots.

Luchasaurus is the guy i think you are on about Goatman yeah i like him to there is something about guys in masks i like and i just found out something i didn't know about him he was in WWE under NXT so maybe he was another great wrestler that WWE let go at least now he will get more experience outside WWE.

Not really mate i will usually just watch highlights on youtube because im not paying 15 quid and i cant be bothered to download it from what i saw it didn't look very good... i will just stick to wwe as i have the network but i didnt do summerslam as it was too dull to even sit through
