Anyway like Star Trek Discovery I am hoping another satellite or terrestrial channel will show this when the first run is done. Dont you know anyone with an amazon prime account ? have to say its worth it if you buy stuff on amazon for the free next day shipping alone as well as the music and the ebooks as well as amazon prime video RE: Star Trek Picard - GMach1 - 25-01-2020 17:44 No because a lot of people I know either don't want it as it adds to their other costs OR have one or the other and don't watch those sort of programmes. I am not sure you can record them anyway. Maybe satellite channels like E4 or Sci-fi could pick it up. Oh I have bought stuff from Amazon but don't want Amazon Prime nor Netflix. I shall wait and see what happens after the first season is shown...fingers crossed! Not sure will be shown on tv here its on CBS in the states and then internationally on amazon prime if it does will prob be on Sky as they do show a load of CBS shows RE: Star Trek Picard - Skyline - 26-01-2020 17:20 Really liking what I've seen from the first episode, the story goes beyond The Next Generation (though there are a few references). The special effects are great, and although there are some slow moments, it's still excellent viewing nonetheless. Perhaps not quite on Discovery's level of action atm but still intriguing and I'm looking forward to episode 2. Without giving anything away, the newcomer introduced has a good role to play and the end of the episode is mind boggling lol, but awesome. RE: Star Trek Picard - Rammyrascal - 31-01-2020 01:24 S1 Ep2 “Maps & Legends” Picard begins investigating Dahj after the events of episode 1, finds out about her Dahj’s twin sister and sets out to find out why the Romulans are interested in her & Dahj with or without Starfleet’s support. Meanwhile, more is revealed about Narek & why he’s so interested in Dahj’s twin sister Soji & why he’s on the Borg cube RE: Star Trek Picard - *Kal-El* - 31-01-2020 03:24 Ep 2 “Maps and Legends” season 1 For me a average Ep, I liked the flash back of what happened on Mars but other then that pretty much nothing happened and I don’t like what they’ve done in turning starfleet into a bunch of assholes. I do think they need to work on the pacing on the show as it’s a little slow. RE: Star Trek Picard - *Kal-El* - 31-01-2020 06:12 ^^^ the Admiral that Picard visits was a character aboard the Enterprise D and was a ensign plus it’s the same actress.
