I would support Larry over most of them to be fair Big Laugh.
Dominic Raab has now joined the race.

Others who may put themselves forward include Michael Gove, Sir Graham Brady, Liz Truss, Penny Mordaunt, Sajid Javid, Esther McVey and Andrea Leadsom.
Not sure about Liam Fox.

What would be a big bonus in his cap if 1) he was prepared to scrap UC and reinstate tax credits or come up with a credible alternative benefits system and 2) if he was to get rid of the anti Semitism row that surrounds him. And then I think people could possibly trust him, but I think there aren't any really stand out Labour MP's who would stand against him either.

With the likes of Emily Thornberry on the front bench?

^still way better off. it's not really diputable. let the fuckin 1% have it tough for a while, give the rest of us a wee break.

Did they ever officially end austerity or not? that is the one niggling thought in my mind

any tough clampdown on the 1% and you'd have them leaving the country in droves!!

RE: Next PM - Tumble_Drier - 25-05-2019 22:06

The thought of Corbyn, Abbott, Thornberry & McDonnell running the country is the only thing that scares me more than the current lot running the country.

RE: Next PM - lovebabes56 - 25-05-2019 22:08

That's just as scary as trump running the US!!
