Group winner decider against Japan is next up.

There's been a lot of controversy about Australia's winning goal in their 3-2 win over Brazil on Thursday, some even describing it as scandalous. Although a close offside call I thought the referee actually got it right, with the help of VAR, though I well be in the minority.

^VAR is like Marmite - in football you love it or hate it Tongue Tongue

England v Argentina in 9mins. Come on the Lionesses-ROAR like them and play like them.

Hmm shouldn't they be playing Land of Hope and Glory or Jerusalem(as they do at the Commonwealth Games) and not God Save the Queen which is the BRITISH national anthem?
have always thought they should play land of hope and Glory when England play any international team game. if we were ever able to find harmony within the Union FA's to put a strong GB Team together, I'm sure FIFA would allow it.

Mind you where is the Barmy Army when you need them? They should be allowed to play the Great Escape before kick off as well

Watching the cricket I would assume. Aren't the Barmy Army supporters of England cricket?

Women footballers are sometimes seen after matches wearing an opposition shirt, especially in finals, so they clearly do exchange shirts - but it's rare that it's done on the field of play. There are exceptions though, such as the following example where a Swedish player, Josefine Öqvist, exchanges her shirt with a spectator.

Netherlands have beaten Cameroon to 3-1 to ensure qualification for the knockout stages.

That's not true, because even if you approve of VAR you still can't escape having doubts about how it's being used. The Italy-Jamaica match was another one in which there was a great debate around VAR decisions, and with VAR arriving in the Premier League next season we can only hope that the referees in this country are giving all these incidents a close study.
