There’s a DS9 Easter Egg in Ep 9 the book that the fantasy was based on was written Benny Russell the alter ago of Captain Ben Sisko from the DS9 Ep “Far Behind The Stairs” where Sisko becomes this writer on the 1950’s.

Season 1 Finale "A Quality of Mercy"
The season was starting to fluctuate but an enjoyable bit of fanwankery to end the season. Especially a classic "Balance of Terror" scene recreated with theme music

Here’s some interesting news there’s gonna a cross over Ep in season 2 with the show Star Trek Lower Decks, seeing how lower decks is animated it’s gonna very interesting and will be directed by Jonathan Frakes.
