I wanted to enjoy, a nice picnic in the park,
But nature had other plans, it was determined to mark.
As soon as I laid out my blanket and food,
The ants came marching, in a hungry mood.
I tried to shoo them away, with a flick of my hand,
But they just kept coming, in a never-ending band.
Then the bees joined in, buzzing around my head,
I dropped my sandwich, and ran away in dread.
I gave up on the picnic, and went for a hike,
But the mosquitoes feasted, and I had no more fight.
I returned home, covered in bites and dirt,
Lesson learned, next time I'll just order takeout, no dessert.

Hope is a delicate feather,
That soars in any weather,
It lifts the heart so high,
And teaches us to fly.
When the world feels heavy,
And the path ahead unsteady,
Trust in hope's gentle wings,
For they promise better things.

He buzzed and buzzed
