America seems to have a meh, not our problem approach now, and Boris will no doubt fop his way into doing or something stupid, because Boris.
All those lives lost, all that money spent and our governments have just handed back the country to the people they were trying to keep out of power. The Taliban are trying to put out a positive spin on this, saying it'll be peaceful and they don't intend to do this or that, and although women will have to wear a hijab, their rights will be respected and so on...I have my doubts, because of their history. What a mess!

It's been a complete and total failure, the Intelligence community completely underestimated the strength & scale of both The Taliban & The Afghan Army. The country will now be left to fall backwards, the future of the Afghan people particularly, women, girls & LGBT is dire & there will no doubt be a refugee crisis that comes from this.

Six weeks ago President Biden said that it was highly unlikely there would be a complete & total takeover of the country by The Taliban, last Saturday the head of The UK Armed Forces, General Sir Nick Carter, wrote an op-ed in The Times saying it was too soon to write off the Afghan Security forces and the just needed to hold onto provincial capitols. They both have egg on their face to say the least.

This is a humiliation for The US, The UK & The NATO Alliance.

I think you can't lay the blame for it being a failure on the doorstep of Boris and & Joe - if anyone should shoulder the blame for this being a failure, it should be George & Tony, but I am sure many will see this a failure of both US & UK Governments in the past and today.

To be brutally honest, when we first went in, it was to hunt and flesh out Bin Laden and his like, and I think even then we could see the beginnings of that getting sidetracked by the Taliban. Like the Iraq war and Syria, this was always going to end up in a power vacuum situation and we never pushed hard enough to create a successful power transition. Now, out of that vacuum you are going to see chaos & dvision, & the likes of ISIS and Al - Qaeda using Afghanistan as a safe haven and I think the Taliban will protect them.
We spent 20 years of fighting them and - this is the outcome. I can only see Isis re - grouping there and then sneaking back into Syria and maybe Iraq & Libya stronger than ever and retaking lost ground. Was the war lost when we and the Americans pulled out?
Getting our nationals might not be that easy task, and the US embassy staff are holed up in the airport there and I wonder how the US are going to get them out.

Never again should we commit our troops abroad on a mission UNLESS we are sure of success. When you interfere in another country's business and affair you are always to expect oppposition from some quarters. I think this is a humiliation for the West as a whole, and probably for the US itself it is a far bigger humiliation thsan Vietnam.

He has become the embodiment of that very image.

What a little shit as well I mean what utter nonsense, a naked child swimming is not sexually exploitative even if you do see it's penis. The notion that he is the world's biggest porn star is just laughable bollocks. Then he goes on about the amount of money the album has made as if it has anything to do with that picture and not, you know music

He just lives on a completely different planet, totally up his own Uranus
