RE: World Snooker Championship 2022 - Geriisgreat - 25-04-2022 20:32 Damn was hopeful that kryan Wilson was going to make a comeback against boring Bingham That was magical by Neil Robertson one of his best maximums hopefully gives him the confidence to finish the comeback against lisowski RE: World Snooker Championship 2022 - Snooks - 25-04-2022 21:29 Evening results: Judd Trump (4) bt Anthony McGill 13-11 Jack Lisowski (14) bt Neil Robertson (3) 13-12 Quarter Final Draw: (seed numbers in brackets) Matches best of 25 frames. RE: World Snooker Championship 2022 - Tractor boy - 25-04-2022 21:49 The prancing Aussie Peacock is out RE: World Snooker Championship 2022 - Snooks - 25-04-2022 22:06 I cannot help feeling that final frame was make or break for Lisowski in terms of his career in snooker. For the majority of the match I felt he was actually the better player and yet a few critical errors at bad times nearly created his downfall. He has suffered at the hands of Robertson and others in big matches a number of times. He needed to come of age under severe pressure and tonight, at last he did it. To have played as well as he did and lost would have been incredibly damaging. He really does need to start believing he can do it because if he doesn't believe it then nobody else is going to either. He has so much ability. He needs to kick on. RE: World Snooker Championship 2022 - Tractor boy - 26-04-2022 10:14 I think, having Peter Ebdon in his corner, helps Jack in those crucial moments. RE: World Snooker Championship 2022 - Doddle - 26-04-2022 14:19 If 25 frames with Neil Robertson didn't bring him on, then a possible 25 frames with John Higgins might tell. I was glad he did win though, especially after that 147. RE: World Snooker Championship 2022 - Snooks - 26-04-2022 21:53 Day Eleven. Overnight scores Mark Williams (8) 8-8 Yan Bingtao (16) Judd Trump (4) 5-3 Stuart Bingham (12) John Higgins (6) 5-3 Jack Lisowski (14) Ronnie O'Sullivan (2) 11-5 Stephen Maguire RE: World Snooker Championship 2022 - Tractor boy - 27-04-2022 14:12 I said to a friend three years ago that I reckoned Yan Bintao would be a good bet to be the first Chinese world champion. I wish I had put a few quid on him, I doubt I would get very good odds now. RE: World Snooker Championship 2022 - Snooks - 27-04-2022 17:58 Heading into the last session of quarter final action this evening both the matches are finely poised. Judd Trump and Stuart Bingham are locked at 8-8 while John Higgins has a narrow 8-7 advantage over Jack Lisowski. Class of 92 pair Ronnie O'Sullivan and Mark Williams prevailed earlier today to reach the last four. |
