Well, thank you all. My only hope was to be runner-up to Kal-El in "Telly Viewer of the Year", so this is... er... less hypothetical. And you did vote for me. So there it is. Thanks. RE: Forum Awards 2024 - Winner Ceremony - crankshaft - 30-12-2024 14:27 Congratulations to all the winners and many thanks for those who nominated me in one of the awards, for which I am humbled. How fantastic to see so many babes in video messages announcing the award winners. It shows that they really value the forum which is nice to see RE: Forum Awards 2024 - Winner Ceremony - joeman222 - 30-12-2024 15:00 Congratulations to all the winners ![]() RE: Forum Awards 2024 - Winner Ceremony - Rammyrascal - 30-12-2024 17:59 Congrats to the winners RE: Forum Awards 2024 - Winner Ceremony - Snooks - 30-12-2024 19:00 When I joined this forum in June 2010 little did I know just what an important thing it would be in my life. It has been a primary source of solace in some incredibly dark moments and periods of deep despair. That in itself creates a debt of gratitude that is hard for even me to put into words. This place has given me so much. I have drawn comfort, hope, courage and strength just by being here. My snooker soulmate Doddle joined the forum at pretty much the same time as myself. His unsung hero award is imo the most deserved of any forum award in any category over the entire time I have been here. I am beyond delighted at his recognition. A victory for pithy wit but most of all for honesty of endeavour. A trait which I hold in higher regard than any other as many of you will vouch for. This is the finest forum community I know and you forumites inspire me to stick around and keep going. To receive the title of 'Poster of the Year' for the first time in 2013 felt like the highest honour this forum could ever bestow. To now be granted that accolade for a sixth time leaves me feeling truly blessed and enormously proud. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I am deeply touched and humbled by your amazing kindness shown to me all these years. To Boomer and SecretAgent I say this. Yorkshire can be immensely proud of two of it's most steadfast, upstanding, resolute but above all classy individuals. This forum is lucky to have such a strong membership core. You two are front and centre of that. My respect and admiration for both of you runs deep because you post from the heart and from the gut in a spirit of principle and courage. Thank you for all you do here. Congratulations to all the other winners across the various categories and much love to you all. Snooks. ![]() RE: Forum Awards 2024 - Winner Ceremony - SecretAgent - 30-12-2024 19:24 ^ Snooks your kind words are appreciated but your eloquence in your forum contributions is unsurpassed and the fact that is repeatedly recognised by your fellow forum members is no surprise. Good on you sir! RE: Forum Awards 2024 - Winner Ceremony - Joannis - 30-12-2024 20:36 Thank you for that Snooks. I don't post enough on here to deserve any kind of award, but the fact that I'm still posting at all, and I haven't slunk to being a lurker in the background, is because I have fellow snooker enthusiasts like yourself and Doddle posting. I'm happy that you both won an award. Congratulations to all winners! I'm particularly glad that Darren, Charlemagne, HLO, and the one who's caps and pics get my kerrave on, all won at least one award for the fine caps, pics and vids they post. If anyone has trouble pronouncing Charlemagne, there's a fantastic song called Charlemagne by the Blossoms, look it up on YouTube I used to hear it on MTV Rocks all the time, that'll help you out. RE: Forum Awards 2024 - Winner Ceremony - BarrieBF - 31-12-2024 00:36 Thanks to Babestation for shooting the videos and well done to the 7 girls who appeared in them. |
