Very happy to report my father is 88 today and in fine fettle, as some 80-somethings usually need sticks or frames to get about but he is fighting fit and looking good. Happy Birthday Dad.

Thanks Kal-El. He had a really good day and one of our next door neighbours even bought him some home-made trifle Smile All in all a great day which is very pleasing. Thanks to you all for your kind thanks for him. I will pass those on to him.

A few days ago I booked 3 nights in a hotel in Scotland but got an email from them saying the room had already gone and should not have been on the website, so I called them today and they could not have done more for me, they gave me an upgrade to a bigger room and £99 pounds off my booking for the inconvenience, nice to have a bit of luck like that,

Result!
Second time this year felt a spasm in my back, this time upper left side and it was agony but two days in and it okay not as long term pain as I had back in Februaryy where I was half crippled for a week. Also happy that finally the brick and tarmac pavement replacement for our street is ended so no more being woken up at 8am by machine.

Pity I don't do Twitter but I do wish her well again, not sure why she was suspended, presumably something she said or did? Anyway I am sure she will soon boost her following again.

MAJOR LEAGUE HAPPY, in fact ecstatic! I went to see the doctor this afternoon and she re-confirmed what she told me first back in December 2018, that somehow I have REVERSED my Diabetes(Type II) and I am free of it. This means not only have I lost a load of weight over 9 years practically BUT my cholesterol is 'brilliant' in her words and I will no longer need to take METFORMIN, which are the pills you are usually given to help with not only moving the sugars around your body to where you need them for energy but also helps weight loss. The only downside is that I have to come off the exempt list which means I will have to pay for my remaining prescriptions which are about £9 a go. It is still excellent news and proves that it can be done. I am VERY happy.!! SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileCoolCoolCoolCool
