McSweeney is gone

The only thing keeping Starmer in place right now seems to be the lack of a suitable successor, will he limp on to the locals in May or go before that, place your bets

The bookies have Rayner the favourite at 9/4 but surely her tax misconduct should rule her out ? Then again the Tories replaced a buffoon with lunatic so who knows

He'll limp on to the local elections, get annihilated and the calls for him to go will probably get louder. This government already has a stench of death about it. It's as if they watched 14 years of Tory rule and said hold my beer we can speed run this. to defeat.

Still under investigation, I think. So it's always possible she could be cleared Rolleyes

I think he'll only go if the local election results that do go ahead go against him.

That does the likes of Anas Sarwar no good in the Scottish Parliament elections though if Starmer hangs on that long.

Labour actually have decent leadership up here, in Sarwar and Jackie Baillie, but they're going to be torpedoed by Starmer's shitshow down there.
