RE: Dr Who - Rammyrascal - 04-08-2013 18:27 new dr who is..........Peter Capaldi RE: Dr Who - bigguy01 - 04-08-2013 18:33 i think he would be interesting. at least he is older. he looks like he could be a dark version of the doctor. RE: Dr Who - Regenerated - 04-08-2013 18:42 First of all - I believe it was the wrong decision to reveal who it is before the regeneration act itself. If they wanted to make it a bit more interesting it might have been better to only reveal the identity of the new person at that moment. I suspect their hands were forced by the massive speculation in the media ever since Matt Smith said he didn't want it anymore. Secondly - Capaldi. Well the bookies and the speculation was obviously correct. I wanted an older doctor - one who may bring it more focus back to adults again while still retaining the appeal to kids. But he's not my choice. I hope it turns out alright. That's all I'll say for now. RE: Dr Who - skully - 04-08-2013 18:57 Out of the names linked he's probably the best choice, the fact he's been a fan since he was a kid means he'll want to get it right, let's just hope the writers don't fuck it up. RE: Dr Who - SmĀ© - 04-08-2013 19:10 Did anyone see World War Z? His character played a familiar role RE: Dr Who - scapaflow - 04-08-2013 19:37 Was watching Ian Banks, The Crow Road just last night. A very young Peter Capaldi. There's a coincidence. Excellent stuff. An even younger version of the lad can be viewed in Local Hero, a film which as a Scotsman, always brings tears to the eyes, and a top theme tune. RE: Dr Who - munch1917 - 04-08-2013 19:58 Meh ... RE: Dr Who - Stillroom Rock - 04-08-2013 20:01 I think he's a good choice, lets give him a chance and see what happens RE: Dr Who - Rammyrascal - 04-08-2013 20:16 RE: Dr Who - HannahsPet - 04-08-2013 20:33 Didnt he play a character in Torchwood the children one as well as a Dr who the one set in Pompeii |
