Superb result for us, winning 1-0 at Derby tonight, which was our first away win since November. And a big thank you to the Wolves boys as they got a late equaliser against Udinese "B" aka Watford. Next up: Hull at home on Tuesday, which could be huge but may well end up a crap 0-0 like most of our games.

That should now be Laughing Stock Wanderers Wink.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have sacked Dean Saunders.
As a Wolves fan this is like water off a ducks back.
I have become so used to farcical ineptitude at all levels at Molineux I almost find it quite amusing Rolleyes. The last 2 years have been a catalogue of woe Rolleyes.

What a nail biting finale it was in all divisions of the football league. There was amazing last day drama all round. I'd like to give a special mention to my dear Wimbledon who were in the relegation places going in to the last game knowing that they had to win to stay in the league but managed a 2-1 win with that scoreline surviving 7 minutes of very nervous stoppage time at the end. On that day there were 7 clubs who could still have gone down.

We both said it didn't we Snookered - when Saunders was appointed we both said it was the wrong decision and we'll go down. Oh well.... Smile

I just hope Morgan gets the right one in this time. I want a director of football in place at that club, someone who can sort this total mess out and then look for the new manager. Trouble is - who'd want to come and work in that circus, either as a director or a manager? Morgan's made it a joke that I fear will put off all serious football minded people. Fed up to the back teeth with my beloved Wolves.

The irony now is that because we are in League One we have just sacked someone with experience of managing in it Wink. Don't get me wrong it was a joke appointment at the time and I stand by my view that he was out of his depth.
Some months after sacking Mick McCarthy we got relegated and it subsequently became obvious that the best equipped man to manage in the Championship had been sacked some months before Wink.
Oh the delicious irony Wink.

the season seems to be starting earlier every year, i would prefer the season to start in late august when summer is nearly over
