At last the new James Bond film has a title NO TIME TO DIE! yeah well it's not earth-shattering and rather dull(the clever money had been on SHATTERHAND, the code name for Blofeld) but at least after months of keeping us in the dark, it is finally revealed.

Very happy that today my father went to see a specialist since November when a routine ultra-scan on his hernia revealed a blockage that needed operating on. He had to have a catheter fitted and a kidney stone taken out that was threatening his prostate. Thankfully he got through all that and the specialist was pleased with his progress although he still has the hernia but it won't affect anywhere else. No need to go back to hospital until next February. It's been a hell of a year but thankfully this Christmas will be a lot better than last.

Even happier today my parents celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary...next year however is the big 60th which has been in the planning for two years, so that is going to be something special. One slight downer, my mother is in bed with a cold, but that won't be stopping her and my father going out with to friends tonight for a celebratory dinner.
