Yes as Boomer say we were well place at 150 odd for 3. To me it was a disappointment, in this game, that they did not go to get victory.
International cricket is usually won and lost by fine margins and although England may have lost the series 4-1 we have had chances in this competition and have been at least competitive at times. So to me unlike the test matches which were the one dayers have not been a shambles.

9-1 to Australia so far.
Three 20/20s left.
Could it be 12-1? Rolleyes

No it won't be 12-1. I'm backing England to win the T20 series.

I hope you are right.
It has been an utterly miserable tour up to now Sad.

Expect Australia to select a side were all 11 will have featured in the current Big Bash T20 comp,England should have a top 3 of Lumb,Hales & Wright who have all played,Bopara bowled better than he batted in the Big Bash so it's touch & go on his inclusion.
I think Australia have the edge, just.

Hopefully the England Ladies team can win tonight and make sure they retain the Ashes.
They only need one win from the three 20/20 games to seal victory in the overall series.

I'm still predicting England to win. I'm expecting exciting cricket too! I'm an optimist. Smile

Australia win the toss & bat
52-0 - 6 overs

Australia - Finch, White, Maxwell, Bailey ©, Lynn, Christian, Henriques, Wade (w), Coulter-Nile, Hazelwood, Muirhead

England - Lumb, Hales, Wright, Root, Morgan, Butler (w), Bopara, Bresnan, Broad ©, Dernbach, Briggs

Surprise that Stokes has been rested, bowling 4 overs & fielding 20 isn't going to wear him out.

Can we not get some of the women on to the men's team? on second thoughts that would then mean two women's teams....if you pick on form and determination to win.
