The fact that they are saying Andersons comments merited his losing the Conservative Whip but Bravermans didn't look very much like they are scared that suspending Braverman would lead to full scale war in the Party

The thing that gets me about the whole culture wars issue Braverman/Anderson et al is that there is a sense among some in the country that the woke liberal elite in left wing parties & the commentariat all view the white working class, particularly Brexit voters, as knuckle dragging racists. Now there is definitely an element of that but what is staggeringly obvious is that the right wing clearly think the exact same, the difference is they just pander to it rather criticise it.

All the nonesensical bile that this lot come out with, they do it because they think thats what that demographic think & want, they think that every male, white, working class, leaver living in the red wall who voted Tory for the first time in 2019 to get Brexit done is essentially Lee Anderson.

They think that an Islamic cabal is running the country, that the Rwanda policy would be an affective deterrent despite the fact that even if it went according to plan it would deport less than 1% of the people in small boats, that making a joke at the expense of a group of people when the mother of a murdered teenager from that group is watching on & refusing to apologise after being called out is sticking it to the wokerati.

The Right wing clearly think they're all a bunch of racist idiots and if any of them are thinking of voting Tory or Reform to stop the woke, liberal elite from taking over, then, they're right.

3 Female MPs given "additional protection"

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/feb/24/three-female-mps-given-bodyguards-after-concerns-over-safety

I don't give a toss which party they're from or who they are, this is unacceptable and anyone issuing actual threats should be thrown into an industrial mincing machine.

So after the speaker of the House of Commons (Lindsay Hoyle) promised the SNP a debate on motion be voted on by MP’s labelling what Israel are doing as collective punishment and genocide (which are legally significant terms under international criminal and humanitarian law), Lindsay Hoyle has gone back on his word.

Or something resembling a Mulcher from Zombie Army 4 & then poured down a never endinfg drainpipe for eternity. Failing that they should locked for eternity in Alcatraz with heavily electrified fencing with guards beating the crap out of them, rats and tarantulas running free and their only means of escape is to cross shark infested waters.

The people of Rochdale have fallen for Galloway's bullshit. I really can't think how he managed to get elected there, it's a total mystery to me.

Still, I'm sure the local Jewish Community (circa 400 I believe) will be proud to have him as their man in Westminster.

As one commentator put it, "The other parties left a great void, and he just walked into it".

If Sunak and Starmer are cheeks of the same backside, that must mean Galloway is the arsehole.

RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - lovebabes56 - 02-03-2024 07:27

..and the shit that comes out of that arsehole more than likely

I fear that we may have reached a tipping point in Briitsh politics. I suspect that therer is very little Sunak can do to prevent him entering the House bar having him arrested, if that was to happen then you'd more than likely see riots in Rochdale on scale of Toxteth.

I wonder now if both Labour & Tories will appeal to have the resdult declared null and void and call for a second election and prevent Galloway from standing.
