Streeting, Miliband and Mahmood all back Starmer, that's all the big beasts and potential rivals at cabinet level + Rayner pledging their support, that should stabilise his position for now.
Kind of leaves Sarwar standing in the rain. From a Scottish point of view, it is very depressing that we can't get rid of the shitshow of a government up here because of the shitshow of a government down there

They don't have a clear successor & to be honest if you are eyeing the throne would you not want Starmer in place for the May elections so you don't have that shitshow on your plate and allow you to come in afterwards & start a new with a clean slate ?
