Ruth Davidson's drawn a line in the sand with regard to the DUP. She's told May she places LBGT rights above the party.

It just gets better and better laugh

And with Scottish MP'S not being able to vote on some English matters, the whole thing is a complete fuck upHuhHuh With the horror manifesto, dementia tax, Fox Hunting, Ivory ban lifting, CONservatives have shown a complete disregard for the general public. Cant understand how the CON party's higher archy allowed May to humiliate their party. If they dont change their aloof ways, and listen to the people, the slide will continue. May looks at people as if they are something nasty she has stood on, and she needs to practice that false smile, its scary.eek

You keep saying this but they have not said they are lifting the Ivory ban - its just you scaremongering. The 2015 manifesto said they would EXTEND the ban from where it is now to include all ivory. At present it is only legal to deal in ivory from before some date decades ago and that's how the law will remain

apparently there are 19 Gay and lesbian tory mp's in the commons so could be a real shit storm if they try anything about LGBT rights

You can't be forward looking when dealing with backwards attitudes, so this will go tits up sooner rather than later.

I doubt it. The Conservatives won't try to force anything about LGBT rights on NI and if there is anything about law changes on the mainland they'll just do it as a free vote (which they'd probably have to do anyway as there are too many neandethalls on the Tory backbenchers as it is)

The bigger problems are going to be within the Tory party itself as a couple of MP's can hold the whole legislative agenda to ransom.

I hope out of this we'll get a softer brexit but the likes of Peter Bone won't accept anything less than towing the UK out into the Atlantic and turning our back on the EU
