RE: Tour de France - Charlemagne - 08-07-2021 14:57 Stage12 Saint Paul Trois Chateaux to Nimes 159.4 km flat race. A breakaway group look like they can hold out for a win. RE: Tour de France - winsaw - 08-07-2021 15:22 Politt is the unexpected winner today, i seen him do well in the spring one day races in the low countries, the strong wind made it a day for the break away, Cav has a chance again tomorrow on a flat day but its another where if windy the break away should win, i do always like to see a break away win, RE: Tour de France - Charlemagne - 09-07-2021 11:09 Stage13. 219.9km Nimes to Carcassonne. Another flat stage which could suit the sprinters RE: Tour de France - circles_o_o_o - 09-07-2021 15:24 Eddy who? RE: Tour de France - Charlemagne - 09-07-2021 15:28 It always gets me how the guys hardly seen in the stage until the 3 lead out men pull to one side and then Cavendish puts on the burners and no-one has the speed to keep up. A different interview from him today. After yesterdays hard mountain stage , he said that today was long, hot, and windy. And he had to go deep to win. No celebrations from him. RE: Tour de France - SecretAgent - 09-07-2021 15:48 Today has been one of those days when you are honoured to see the best in the history of a sport win. Well done Cav! I'm overjoyed that Cav is within spitting distance of wiping out one of the old fraud's records. RE: Tour de France - Boomerangutangangbang - 09-07-2021 17:36 Cav The Legend !!! I'm so happy for him. Loved the interview, especially the random stuff about narrow shoulders & headbutting. RE: Tour de France - Rake - 09-07-2021 18:29 Cavendish - what a fantastic story. RE: Tour de France - Charlemagne - 10-07-2021 06:38 Stage14 183.7km from Carcassonne to Quillan. Hilly stage down towards the Pyrénées. |
