Further complication is that while most of the presenters may be self-employed as sole traders; some of them may route their S 66 income through a limited company in order to only pay the advantageous corporation tax rate.
If they do the latter they run the risk of falling foul of HMRC IR 35 rules.

Yes the change is only a change if the 30% proposal has been retracted. You are correct in what you say. But that's exactly what happened. The 30% idea was dropped and the girls told to make a straight choice between Studio 66 and OnlyFans. They can't do both.

i think the hole cam thing is something that has not been talked about enouth on this thread as it really is where it all started back in the summer, end of June if i remember rightly 66 management first big idea to get the girls to make them more money and have more control over what they where doing outside 66,
it was controversial with babes that don't do loads of perv but get good numbers of punters when they do, because the aim was to encourage wider use of 66 cam by increasing the % of the take that successful girls receive, however that requirement was for minimum number of hours of cam each month in order to qualify for the bonus % a lot of these hours being at home which would give the girls lots less time to cam on other sites like MFC, the higher percentage bonus rate was 50%, something some babes received prior to the rate being cut to 33%. again a change that was also controversial with some off the big name girls who had been on a higher rate before the cut to all girls as they didnt see why they should suddenly be expected to do more hours to earn what was agreed with her before, One babe in particular moaned enough about this that they looking at the situation again and reduced everyone back down to the current 33% but with out the chance to make the 50% by doing more hours,
so having failed to get the girls working a lot more on 66 cams we are where we are now with the latest idea to get more money from the girls,

If Studio 66 girls are going to make an argument for employment based on the Uber case, they would have to argue that they can't get work outside of Studio 66, which of course we know isn't the case.
It's worth adding that the majority of Uber drivers WANTED to be classed as employees. This is not the case with babe channel girls.

This would be particularly tricky for the long term girls because the 2 year rule causes all sorts of issues. There was a change last year where after 2 years companies were obligated to tell HMRC when contractors breached the 2 year boundary. Previously the contractor could take a chance (and indeed you could even get insurance against an IR35 investigation). Caused a lot of my contractors to either renegotiate or leave.
If you contract as a company you've also got to cover things like right of substitution to show you're not a sole trader. It's messy and you have to stay upside of both law changes and HMRC "policy" changes
