A mighty Christophe Berra header keeps us just 4 points off the play offs.

Fine win for my lot at Bramall Lane.
Sheffield Utd had been on a very long run without defeat or conceding a goal.
It has been a notoriously difficult venue for Wolves down the years.
Gets things back on track after a couple of wobbles.
9 games left, the race is on.

Bobby Zamora's face for our second was a picture. Classic goalkeeping error I think felt sorry for the Borough keeper!! We are still lucky to still be in the playoff picture but it's going to be hard to say where we will finish in the playoffs. If anything it would be I think good if we can finish so we have a home draw for the first leg. Although it is safe to say that any chance of automatic promotion has gone after our loss to Sheffield Wednesday last Tuesday. It will be good to see Leicester back in the top flight though.

Another manager gone: Nottingham Forest have sacked Billy Davies. Forest are 7th in the Championship.

RE: Football League: Discussion - lovebabes56 - 24-03-2014 19:55

I'm very surprised to see that. I still think Forest have a good chance of being in the play offs. I think it was inevitable and I think they will rely on a caretaker manager until end of season.

Some of us can only dream of the giddy heights of being 7th in the Championship. Portsmouth are now only 3 pts clear of the relegation places in League 2 with only 4 wins in the last 26 matches and only 5 goals in the last 10 matches. The team are still battling hard though, so if we go down and suffer yet another relegation at least we will go down fighting.

Top marks to Ipswich beating Derby 2-1

Leicester managed to scrape a last minute point off lowly Yeovil
