i get what your saying mr head but if the game was played in december like it should have been those 2 players i mentioned werent chelsea players at the time therefore couldnt play ok. so he couldnt pick those two players cos they werent there. they should be able to play in the game at old trafford cos that game hasnt been played yet has it? im not sure when that game is, but the game at stamford bridge should already have been played therefore i believe if chelsea and man utd have bought players after the postponed game at stamford bridge then they shouldnt be allowed to play in the rearranged game cos the players werent on the teams books for the original game what got called off. we will leave it there mate but thanx for replying i appreciate it, cheers.

malicious fan I'm not sure if the rules have changed but as I understand it Fernando Torres is...Sorry would've been ineligable for the whole of Chelsea's FA Cup campaign as he has already played in it for Liverpool v Utd in round 3 but can play in the Champions League as Liverpool aren't in it this season & it's now into the knockout stage so any Europa League games he played in the group stage don't count & David Luiz couldn't play against Everton as he wasn't a Chelsea player when they played the first game but could've played in the next round as he was signed from a foreign club.
Now I'm confused as to why you mention Utd v Chealsea, if you mean the rearranged league fixture then it doesn't matter if they weren't Chelsea players when the original game should've been played the same as you say with any injured players who are now fit.

As well as wearing there silly looking snoods, yet more examples of over paid high profile footballer.
All the substitutes on the the Manchester City bench were issued with sky blue hot water bottles to stop them cold....
