RE: Scottish Football - mikedafc - 25-05-2014 16:51 Hamiton have won 2-0 against Hibs(2-2 on aggregate) relegation playoff into extra time Now going to penalties, Hamilton win 4-3 on penalties, Hibernian relegated RE: Scottish Football - Sm© - 25-05-2014 17:47 I don't think the Huns will have it all their way next season... Three of Scotlands most famous clubs competing for the championship next year will make for some good games. RE: Scottish Football - hung-elgin08 - 25-05-2014 17:56 embarrassing for our national game. The national team is doing superb, but to have hibs, hearts and rangers in the Championship csn't be good for scottish football. A lot of money leaving the top tier RE: Scottish Football - Sm© - 25-05-2014 18:09 ^^^ It might not look good for the Scottish game, but at least Rangers won't win every game like last season. I think it will actually generate more interest in the game north of the border. Four Rangers v Hibs games, four Rangers v Hearts games and four Edinburgh derbys... I'd watch those games on tv RE: Scottish Football - hung-elgin08 - 25-05-2014 18:16 and in our top league st jonhstone at home to hamilton? Im not bashing hamilton here, they deserved it, just dont think it looks good for our league RE: Scottish Football - mikedafc - 25-05-2014 18:50 Have to say I always thought that the Championship was going to be Rangers toughest test in their quest to get back to the Scottish Premiership as they would be playing against full time teams whereas they have been playing against part time teams last 2 years. It makes The Championship even more interesting as 1 of the 3 definitely won't be going up next season (25-05-2014 18:09 )Sm© Wrote: ^^^ It might not look good for the Scottish game, but at least Rangers won't win every game like last season. It wasn't Congratulations to Hamilton and good for them after thinking they'd blown away their promotion chance last month. Hamilton deserve to go up after playing brilliantly all season, Hibs on the other hand have been rank rotten. To use a Scottish terminology they've been pish Also a lesson was learned today, the Hibs fans only last month were basking in the glory of seeing their neighbours Hearts relegated and even thought at one point that it would have been them to officially end their stay in the top flight, just goes to prove what happens when you gloat Astonishingly at the start of the Bottom 6 split Hibs were sitting in 7th Spot on 34 points and only needed one more victory to make them safe, this never happened, they only gained one more point which was away to Ross County. Last week I took some stick at work after seeing my own team lose the Scottish Cup Final and one of the guy's that participated in the piss taking just so happened to be a Hibs supporter. I'll be having my turn tomorrow The Hamilton players celebrate as Hibs miss their Second penalty to seal their fate. Once again well done Hamilton RE: Scottish Football - Doddle - 25-05-2014 20:03 hahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahaha My delight is currently being overwhelmed by my sheer disbelief. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahamilton promoted!!! RE: Scottish Football - weeahlf07 - 25-05-2014 20:28 congrats to hamilton on winning promotion today, although to be fair it was only hibs they were playing. hibs have been less than useless for a few seasons now so in footballing terms they wont be missed by the spfl. may make a bit of a dent to sponsorship and other monies coming into our game, but maybe the championship will see more cash injected next season. the team formally known as rangers will have their eyes opened, if they are still is business come season kick off. RE: Scottish Football - Doddle - 25-05-2014 20:31 I think the play-offs should just be streamlined to have 2nd vs 3rd anyway. The bottom 2 clubs should just get relegated. |
