RE: Tour de France - papahet3969 - 15-07-2021 09:42 Bernard Hinault 1985 RE: Tour de France - Charlemagne - 15-07-2021 20:07 The winner of the stage was Tadej Pogacar and this effectively means that he will be the winner of the yellow jersey, the white jersey and now the polka dot jersey - greed man. Mark Cavendish was guided around the course by his team with 6 minutes to spare, as he still holds the green jersey. The action focuses on him again as the next stage is suitable for Cavendish to add yet another win. RE: Tour de France - Tumble_Drier - 15-07-2021 23:19 ^That's very French of you ![]() RE: Tour de France - Charlemagne - 16-07-2021 11:01 Stage19. The route head up towards Paris. Mourenx to Libourne. It's a 207km flat course. There are sprint points on offer at Saint Sever. A Cav win possibly but more like the winner will come from a breakaway group. RE: Tour de France - lovebabes56 - 16-07-2021 11:54 If Cav was to win would he break records? RE: Tour de France - Charlemagne - 17-07-2021 17:04 Today stage was a 30km time trial from Libourne to Saint Emilion (where they produce one of my favourate Bourdeaux's ) The winner of the stage was Wout Van aert RE: Tour de France - Tumble_Drier - 17-07-2021 21:06 Something that's always wound me up about Le Tour is this ridiculous tradition of not attacking the Leader on the final stage. It turns the whole show into an overpriced Sunday Club ride until the sprinters get to have their fun in Paris. It's supposed to be a race so it should be a race from start to finish. RE: Tour de France - Charlemagne - 18-07-2021 07:54 Final stage today. No21 Chatou to Paris Champs-Élysées This has to be Cavendish's day. |
