RE: Top Gear - HannahsPet - 30-07-2015 15:42 You can get it for 5.99 a month just the tv its a hard to find option but it is there. guessing they will be put up in one go RE: Top Gear - biggles - 30-07-2015 19:37 So we'll see how much people enjoy the lads japery when they have to pay a sub to watch it. Jensen would be a good move for the BBC, he has a lot of charisma, good looking and knows about cars. RE: Top Gear - HannahsPet - 30-07-2015 22:59 Its a 160 Million Pound deal for 3 series of 12 episodes a series RE: Top Gear - bytor - 31-07-2015 05:44 Give me Clarkson, May and Hammond on subscription tv any day of the week over the Chris Evans BBC show. RE: Top Gear - HannahsPet - 31-07-2015 07:46 Christ the spite thats coming from the guardian and the independant today the independant even have " How to get out of your Amazon Prime subscription " advice because he is on it RE: Top Gear - The Silent Majority - 01-08-2015 08:03 If Button is confirmed as one of the presenters, I wonder if that will mean the end of The Stig as well. It's possible Clarkson & co will pop up on Dave, or somewhere, at a later date. BBC1 have just started showing the 3rd series of Ripper Street, which was made by Amazon Prime after the BBC cancelled it at the end of series 2. RE: Top Gear - ShandyHand - 01-08-2015 15:04 ^ BBC still put some money up for that one I believe. Presumably in return for first run terrestrial rights in the UK - after 6 months from it's Amazon 'broadcast'. Doubt very much that the beeb would even bid for any rights to the new Amazon 'Top Gear'. UKTV (Dave, etc.) is a possibility for a satellite run I suppose. Though I would of thought it would go to someone with deeper pockets myself. RE: Top Gear - SecretAgent - 01-08-2015 15:29 ^^^ And who part own UKTV? Oh that would be BBC Worldwide! RE: Top Gear - ShandyHand - 01-08-2015 15:55 (01-08-2015 15:29 )SecretAgent Wrote: ^^^ I'm aware of that but they seem to able to distance themselves from the TG flak in a way the BBC proper can't at the mo. I was partly agreeing with you; just saying the Ripper Street situation is a little different. RE: Top Gear - HannahsPet - 02-08-2015 08:06 Dont know why the media are sniffy about pay tv you pay for every tv program wether its licence fee for BBC and the network channels, Pay a fortune in Sky fees to watch there channels whats another 79 quid a year for amazon tv programs Read this http://www.ukfree.tv/article/1107052166/14_reasons_why_you_should_stop_moaning_about_payin very interesting |
