Pietersen has paid the price for his behaviour .
On the pitch ,in the dressing room ,in practice nets ,in the media (tv ,radio ,print ,twitter),in public and private he's courted controversy .He was even appointed captain in the hope he'd see things from a "team" aspect .But no ,3 games and he's fired along with the coach he undermined .Incidentally ,Peter Moores is my tip to succeed Flowers now the interference has gone from the England camp .
Yes on his day Pietersen was the most talented batsman of the last 10 years .But his inconsistency will always be his stumbling block along with his massive ego .
