was funny Selby was nearly asleep couldnt keep his eyes open had a couple of bad shots due to bad concerntration they way he celebrated the green going down was like he had won the match Wink

I know Dennis Taylor unsubtly kept saying in frame 15 that once Ding potted the green (or brown, I forget), the crowd would go crazy. And then Selby pressed on even with just the pink & black left Tongue

Disappointed.
The best player over the tournament lost.
Feel gutted for Ding Sad.

Congratulation to Mark. He's improved his game every round.
So it will be double celebrations tonight

RE: Snooker - mikedafc - 02-05-2016 23:05

Maybe he will get to share the open top bus as apparently he didn't get one when he won 2 years ago

What a superb snooker final.

The only thing that annoys me with the BBC is they show highlights everyday for 2 weeks so i can catch up (i work nights) but they never show highlights of the final, luckily i've been off today, but it seems every year they just never show final highlights Sad

Amazing result, puts Selby alongside Mark Williams (and others I can't remember) as a 2-time champ.

Ding deserves congratulations too, clearly his dip in form has been resolved mightily here.

Also want to mention the Steve Davis tribute they showed in the final mid-session interval, quite powerful stuff about his father.

Steve Davis co hosting The One Show Wink.
How on earth did he get that gig? Big Grin.
