Is it possible the email was received but has been discredited as credible evidence? If that is the case, then there is almost certainly a cover up going on of some sort, that would suggest that it has dire consequences for the Malaysian Government itself if it was revealed as such. Not only that, could the plane have been flown by someone acting on behalf of the government too with orders to deliberately destroy the plane at all costs?

It seems to have sprouted 2 additional engines on its Lunar travels.

Vietnam sent ships and planes to search around the location specified in the email but they didn't find anything.
