Ep 14 "Homecoming" synopsis
DEAN CAIN RETURNS – When Jeremiah Danvers (guest star Dean Cain) is rescued from Cadmus, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) are thrilled to have their father back. The Danvers arrange a family dinner to celebrate but things go awry when a suspicious Mon-El (Chris Wood) starts to question Jeremiah about his sudden return.

Got through episode 9, which was better than I thought it might be from the synopsis. Nice nod to classic sci-fi when an alien world is basically a big quarry
I was also amused that the evil scientist guy looked like either a young Tenniel Evans or a young Oliver Postgate 
Also pleased that whilst there are different stories kept on the bubble, there's no overall sense of "this is the inevitable plot" as there was last year, with either Astra & Non, or the smooth guy who came round in the end and whose name has already eluded me.

Ep 12 "Luthors"
Really liked this Ep one of the best Eps of season 2 along the Eps which had Superman in it.
As the title says it devolves into family and history of the luthors without spoiling too much there's a cameo of a comic character and even few nods from the tv series Smallville which I'll explain when Ep airs in the UK. There's even a little twist and there's even a few comic references from the Superman. Comics. Only negative with the won't they will they drama which is typical CW, the ending sets up the best Ep perfectly 9/10.
