i think if Hughes puts out an under strength side tonight then we'll be the next premiership side out. To make up for our current league position, we need a good cup run to get our confidence going again. i know we only just lost to Spurs last weekend, but if we can play 10 times as good as that tonight, it will set us up perfectly for thev weekend game. The way West Ham are playing ithey will be a difficult side to beat

One down, two to go..

Just read story of Celtic fan who wanted to buy a scooter, so he took £9,000 of his mother in laws money and placed a bet at 1/3 odds of Celtic beating St Johnstone, they lost 2-1. He went on to say that "Celtic should compensate me for ruining my life" What a D***head! LOL!!

Indeed sb, it's always good when small clubs beat a big club

So Gaz, you're happy that Leeds won yesterday? That certainly makes a change
I'm not sure how anything can be seen as an upset in the League Cup. Us beating Man United away last season proves that.

Referee Mark Halsey has made a complaint to Greater Manchester Police about receiving two abusive tweets after Sunday's Liverpool v Man Utd match.

No Pardew, getting into the Champions League wouldn't be like winning a trophy.
Winning a trophy would be like winning a trophy

Not really but it slightly pleases me when the little clubs like L***s and palace beat big clubs

Nice to see Cisse score a goal, but we are still 2-1 down to Man United
