RE: Liverpool FC - mitchell - 24-02-2011 22:47 David Ngog probably won't make it at Liverpool & remember he's still only about 20/21 but yes he had a shocker tonight but with the arrival of Luiz Suarez & Andy Carroll he must be a little down in the dumps especially when he knows his only chance will be when we play a weakened team & therefore he'll not get much service although he had no excuse tonight & yes I think Cristian Poulsen is fuckin shit!! but his wife did give birth on Tuesday so it's been a sleepless week for him. I agree with you n01scruff on Dani Pacheco but Kenny has worked with him for sometime now & obviously feels he's not good enough for the first team & to be honest I'd rather see Martin Kelly & Jay Spearing make it, also good to see Danny Wilson getting some time on the pitch even if it's out of position. Our them without Gerrard in the middle is very slow & lacking creativity as Raul Meireles is better engaging in the play rather than being the individual creator, but like you I had to remind myself about Gerrard, Suarez, Carroll, Johnson & Maxi aswell as Joe Cole only just coming back to fitness, in 5 or 6 games time we should have some good options in both players & formations so I can't wait to see how the end of the season turns out with regards to how we're gonna play next season...... Next season will be.... RE: Liverpool FC - groundnpound - 24-02-2011 23:55 How does Poulsen get in the 11 before Jay.He must show something in training coz the lad gets left behind when it comes to a match. The Pacheco thing's a tricky one...He'll just have to grab his chance with both hands when he gets it.For me the lad's a fantastic player with bags of talent.Kenny will throw him in at some point i'd guess. Like everyone else i can't wait to see our 11 with Gerrard,Meireles,Cole,Kuyt,Suarez and Carroll in there together. All hopefully on top form. With a few new faces in the summer we could do well next season. Suarez,Johnson and Stevie back for the weekend.Fingers crossed. RE: Liverpool FC - groundnpound - 25-02-2011 00:15 RE: Liverpool FC - moeyahoo - 27-02-2011 15:39 Today's performance against West Ham was absolutely disgusting! I can't think of any other word to describe it. Gave away the ball countless times, no one turned up for the game! Luis Suarez had nothing given to him. Defence? what defence didn't look like we had it. Have 2 injuries to deal with too with Kelly (Hamstring) and Merieles (Unknown) whislt Andy Carroll is still not fit. That's the end of my rant, just had to unload my feeling somewhere. RE: Liverpool FC - Regenerated - 27-02-2011 16:37 On the plus side though, you did score a goal against them that keeps West Ham below Wolves in the table. RE: Liverpool FC - moeyahoo - 28-02-2011 00:01 haha even though we lost to them I want West Ham to stay up that place is a second home for me. But today is celebration madness as my home town Birmingham City won the Carling Cup after a LONG wait. all be it being gifted the winning goal Seeing as the "Second City" beat the best team from the Capital, we should claim that position RE: Liverpool FC - mitchell - 06-03-2011 12:05 Former Reds youngster Miquel "Miki" Roqué has had to retire from the game aged just 22 after being diagnosed with pelvic cancer. Miki joined us in 2005 as a 17 year old & was part of the Liverpool youth team that won the 2006 FA Youth Cup & he also made 1 first team appearance replacing Xabi Alonso in the 3-2 Champions League loss at Galatasaray in December 2006 before going on loan to Oldham in 2007 playing in 7 games before going back to Spain on loan in 2008-2009 playing for Xerez & Cartagena, he was released in 2009 & signed for Real Betis where he played 25 games for their B team before making 12 appearances for the first team this season but on On 5 March 2011, after undergoing a routine check-up due to back problems, he was diagnosed with cancer after doctors discovered a tumour in his pelvis & has had to quit the game. RE: Liverpool FC - deadmaninc - 06-03-2011 17:57 It a shame to her about Miquel "Miki" Roqué. But what a great win and glad Kuyt got a hatrick. He gets some stick, that he does not deserve. Also what a player Suarez is. RE: Liverpool FC - mitchell - 06-03-2011 18:29 Typical us this, we smash Chelsea & that lot (I've got to call em something else to keep peoples happy) but draw with Wigan & lose to West Ham inbetween so in the context of things these 2 wins are almost worthless with regards to a 4th place finish.... I'm confused Oh yeah I know your reading this so errrr Shrute-up , All week chaps I'm here aalllll week!!!
