Safe to say they need to disable "guests" at least make it so you have to sign up to type in the free chat box, I mean people will still be like that now and then but nowhere near as much.

Now the stream problems are starting for me all streams down, just messaged them on Twitter about the guests in chat, I know they are reading the feedback there atm.

Evelyn getting kinky in the chat, just playin with the trolls.
All streams down though.

Gotta say it yet another all mighty fuck up from this channel. Which is sad really. Huh

(Oh and according to one member on here i am a S66 fanboy).
I'm not by the way, i just say things as i see them.

I've pretty much lost patience with all the channels right now. They are a shadow of their former selfs. (they are a lot worse now than they were even a year a so ago).

Just ignore the fanboy comments people will get them regardless, I wouldn't quite say "another fuck up" when it's working it will be fine as the layout etc isn't too bad, just need to work out the kinks like guests in the chat, but obviously it's totally unacceptable to not have a single stream working

Just tweeted Jamie about it, that is par for the course for St66 IMO. If I could compare the site to a golf shot I'd say the they were knee deep in the heavy rough!! P

The impression I get is that Firestorm are using this weekend to do some 'essential' maintenance on their servers or they have just pooped BIG TIME.

I just checked three streams and all are running sluggishly. Option 4 just came back.

Other channels accessed from that other place are also having issues.

Note: The 'sluggishness' could be my system.

Yeah must be maintenance, all streams are backup now, either way you can't expect a big layout change and coding change to come without some problems it should have been tested a bit better but without any feedback they can't exactly do much Tongue

I can only concur with the chat box thoughts IE they will need to disable the guest option. To me it adds very little and upset that stream has gone back to timing out after about 8 minutes even for Vuecall members. Not happy this is not an improvement but a backward step IMHO. Let's hope it is just teething troubles and it is sorted out quickly but why they feel the need to mess about and change a system that was OK every few months is beyond me.

^^

I figure instead of dealing with the exact cause of whatever problem they had and using experts in their fields, they just scrap everything to reinvent the wheel every time something is not right in their view. I've had bosses like that.

You end up with a lot of defective wheels and an endless "teething" process for every new wheel.

Hopefully, they can figure out the kinks in this new wheel and fix them before anything derails. Or they decide on another website revamp. bladewave

As of this morning, the streams do not cut out if you are logged in (member of site). Have not tested this when logged-out but I would expect it to cut out after 10 minutes or even less.

Now I already sent my feedback about the chat - expect more vitrol there - to s66 yesterday. They did have the decency to acknowledge my mail and said it would be tabled to the appropriate people.

No one likes taking toys off children but if the children can not play with them in an appropriate manner they do not deserve to have toys.
