RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - Cooper_temple - 09-10-2024 18:31 Bookies have neither Robert Jenrick nor Kemi Badenoch leading the Tories into the next election... RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - SecretAgent - 09-10-2024 18:53 2 awful candidates. Badenoch is my MP and a total waste of space. She probably doesn't even know where this part of her constituency is! Her campaign is funded by an anti climate change & Restore Trust, Tufton Street guy. Jenrick is corrupt and broke Covid rules and had Disney Characters painted over at an unaccompanied child immigration center to make it less welcoming. What an awful shower. RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - southsidestu - 09-10-2024 20:25 I hope its Badenoch that wins, not because I think she's better, not because I think she's worse but because I don't want to spend the next couple of yrs looking at that weassely little face RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - HannahsPet - 09-10-2024 20:28 (09-10-2024 18:31 )Cooper_temple Wrote: Bookies have neither Robert Jenrick nor Kemi Badenoch leading the Tories into the next election... Will be either Farage or Boris ![]() ![]() RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - munch1917 - 10-10-2024 09:10 Maybe its just me, but Badenoch gives me Liz Truss 2.0 vibes. Jenrick gives me no vibes whatsoever, nothing, nada, zilch. I think that says a lot about the impact his political career to date has made, and yet he stands on the precipice of being the Tory leader. Doesn't bode well! RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - lovebabes56 - 10-10-2024 10:06 I'm beginnning to think & wish Mad Nad was in that contest.. I would have sent any voting slip back saying 'BOLLOCKS to the lot of them' I think under any of them the Tories will remain in Opposition for quite some time to come. Until the party can shrug off the last 14 years of Govenment, and install a leader that in no way has a connection to the way it behaved under succcesive USELESS PM's, I wouldn't vote for them. How very cynical. https://x.com/politlcsuk/status/1844402429842087942?s=61&t=3OodtZMhCvNXcQ2MhJtEqQ https://x.com/PolitlcsUK/status/1844403733020672257 RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - Snooks - 10-10-2024 21:22 Hilarious really. The Conservative parliamentary party have put themselves in this mess by virtue of repeatedly electing utterly terrible leaders. This feels like an inadvertent admission that they are all a bunch of navel gazing, incompetent fuckwits without actually saying so directly ![]() "Let's make our own fuckwittery a bit harder to generate shall we?" Even then they will still fuck it up and elect another absolute clown ![]() |
