Seriously? Whenever I've seen queries about how to save anything from Youtube the answer has always been that you need some sort of special software. This is the first time I've seen anyone say that Realplayer will do it.

I've got six different players, but not Realplayer. If it really does download streaming video I'll have to get it.

realplayer 11 will download most streaming vids.
it will even download encrypted videos from some sites! wink wink Tongue

fast video download 2 is an addon for firefox that i use to dl. works great and is fast. the icon appears at the bottom rh corner. just start the vid and hit the button.
