just watchin it, you can see inexperience in that team against chelsea's attacking flair! they nearly hung on though but always thought chelsea would win in end!

Here's a question has any one noticed that the big clubs whether its playing in the league or cup seem to be letting in so many goals, its seemed to have started from last season don't understand why there defences have turned so shit all of a sudden.

maybe theres better attackers now in league so that mite be why but alot of goals to me seem to come from mistakes, the game i watched 2nite, defensive errors from both teams and to be honest every time some of these top teams play live on tv you just get a feeling they are gonna concede goals. the obvious answer is that they are shit at defending one on one or as a team.

makes for great tv i suppose, the 2 games sky showed at the weekend were great games with goals and lets say very dodgy decisions, and the 2 cup games they shown as well last nite and 2nite, they deffo picked the right 2 games to show live. 21 goals in 2 games

In Man United case part of the reason they are letting in goals is because they have not had a first choice defence all season due to injuries. To make it worse the second choice has been mostly out as well. You can tell we are struggling when Carrick plays as a CD!
Once Vidic, Smalling and Jones are back and fully fit I will feel happier though Evra continues to be a liability that is only going to worsen the older he gets. I still maintain a strong, defensive minded midfielder is needed to ease the pressure when the opposition have the ball.

Mick McCarthy has been confirmed as the new manager of Ipswich Town with Terry Connor as his assistant.
How ironic would it be if he achieves what Roy Keane couldn't
