RE: Football League: Discussion - eagle_si - 04-08-2011 20:50 With the season starting tomorrow, I've just had a look at the odds to win the Championship from Paddy Power. Leicester and West Ham are joint favourites at 4/1, well clear of Forest at 14/1, then Middlesbrough, Birmingham and Blackpool are all at 16/1. Palace are 80/1 (and 9/4 to get relegated). Favourites for the drop are Coventry, Barnsley and Doncaster all at 15/8. The full list is here: http://www.paddypower.com/football/uk-football/npower-championship and for the other divisions: http://www.paddypower.com/football/uk-football/npower-league-1 , http://www.paddypower.com/football/uk-football/npower-league-2 RE: Football League: Discussion - Money_Shot - 04-08-2011 23:07 Slightly shocked at Birminghams odds considering there down turn in fortune, literally!! I would think Palace will be safe Si. They turned it around last season, and there are worse sides in that division. Will keep my fingers crossed for your Red 'n' Blue army! Looking at the paddy power odds for League 2, seems my review wasn't to shabby after all RE: Football League: Discussion - gavlcfc10 - 05-08-2011 12:27 AHHH proper football starts today. Cannot wait RE: Football League: Discussion - Money_Shot - 05-08-2011 16:36 Then next season you will say "Pfftt, Championship, what a load of shiiii..." RE: Football League: Discussion - Phoenix - 05-08-2011 22:53 Aah, good to have the footy back Not the greatest game but Taylor-Flecther's goal was quality. And that Brady for Hull looks a decent player too RE: Football League: Discussion - gazfc - 05-08-2011 22:55 Well kids that was shit. If you don't take your chances, you'll lose RE: Football League: Discussion - gavlcfc10 - 05-08-2011 23:02 Unlucky Gaz our former fox Fryatt should of got you a point. Hobbs is crap aswell hoooooofing Hobbs, really impressed with Brady but other than that mediocre performance by most players. Blackpool defence especially Baptiste was good, Grandin looked lively and so did Super Kev. Could of been better but least there was a goal, and what a goal it was RE: Football League: Discussion - eagle_si - 06-08-2011 09:36 New season, same old Ken Bates, acting like the arsehole that he is http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/aug/05/bbc-legal-dispute-leeds-united Does anyone else remember the time in the 80s when he was chairman of Chelsea and threatened to put up an electric fence to stop the hooligans? RE: Football League: Discussion - Rammyrascal - 06-08-2011 09:41 ill be happy with my team bury avoiding relegation from league 1 RE: Football League: Discussion - Captain Vimes - 06-08-2011 09:49 (06-08-2011 09:36 )eagle_si Wrote: New season, same old Ken Bates, acting like the arsehole that he is I was surprised he wasn't advocating armed guard towers and spouting, 'Vor you zee war eez over'. |
