RE: Words or Expression That Should be Banned - mr williams - 22-08-2011 19:04 If there's one thing I could ban? I don't know if you've noticed? Lots of people do it nowadays? Particularly young women? They tell you things in the form of a question? "I'm going to London at the weekend?" So are they really saying "Please tell me you've understood? Please tell me you know where London is? Please help me, I'm so insecure?...." RE: Words or Expression That Should be Banned - StanTheMan - 22-08-2011 20:04 The word 'discharge' should be banned. Oh, I like this thread. They're coming thick and fast now... People who relate a conversation they've recently had (usually a dispute or argument) with, "So I turned round and said....". I always want to ask them why they found it necessary to turn round before they spoke. "At the end of the day." Use your imagination! Try "When all's said and done." for a change. The word 'Basically'. Perfectly functional when used correctly, but these morons that stick it in almost every sentence. "So basically I told him to fuck off." WHAT?? RE: Words or Expression That Should be Banned - gazfc - 22-08-2011 20:57 'tame' please just fuck the fuck off with that word RE: Words or Expression That Should be Banned - mr williams - 22-08-2011 21:27 OFCOM RE: Words or Expression That Should be Banned - StanTheMan - 23-08-2011 13:00 (22-08-2011 20:57 )gazfc Wrote: 'tame' please just fuck the fuck off with that word Not as irritating as 'FAKE' that youtube fodder like to plaster all over their comments when referring to a clip purporting to be something else; FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE Grow up!!
