If there's one thing I could ban? I don't know if you've noticed? Lots of people do it nowadays? Particularly young women? They tell you things in the form of a question? "I'm going to London at the weekend?" So are they really saying "Please tell me you've understood? Please tell me you know where London is? Please help me, I'm so insecure?...."

The word 'discharge' should be banned.

Oh, I like this thread. They're coming thick and fast now...

People who relate a conversation they've recently had (usually a dispute or argument) with, "So I turned round and said....". I always want to ask them why they found it necessary to turn round before they spoke.

"At the end of the day." Use your imagination! Try "When all's said and done." for a change.

The word 'Basically'. Perfectly functional when used correctly, but these morons that stick it in almost every sentence. "So basically I told him to fuck off." WHAT??
