RE: Mainstream TV nudity vs babeshow nudity - StanTheMan - 07-02-2011 00:16 Any chance we can keep this thread on topic, people? How many general Ofcom discussion threads do we need? RE: Mainstream TV nudity vs babeshow nudity - eccles - 08-02-2011 22:52 10:47pm on Dave, Sky channel 111. Advert for Old Speckled Hen. A man wearing a towel swings a weight hanging from a cord back and fowards. Implied that it is tied to his wedding tackle. So thats genital stimulation and implied masturbation on a mass audience channel that is popular with children, before 11pm. Yesterday sometime, but all over the place. A naked woman is reclining, no bits showing. A large python is draped over her. Its an advert for Pom fruit juice. Where exactly does that sit with Ofcom/ASA rules ? Full implied nudity plus a snake? Just as I switched on they were showing a clip from one of her films, in which a young couple with cloth sacks over their heads walk backwards and away from the camera. It soones becomes apparent that they're completely naked, but I have to confess I wasn't expecting the guy to have a full-on erection - and quite an impressive one at that. It's on again as you said and I see what you mean having to sit through all of the mindless boring shit. They should have put it on SKY ANYTIME so that I could just fast forward through all this pish in between. RE: Mainstream TV nudity vs babeshow nudity - Scottishbloke - 10-02-2011 01:13 Furthermore after seeing the clip it wasn't really worth the wait for all of a 3 second clip at most but once again it does highlight the double standards by all at Ofcom. RE: Mainstream TV nudity vs babeshow nudity - StanTheMan - 10-02-2011 20:34 Well in my defense, I initially only saw the scene I referred to and had no idea what (if any) other explicit content there was in the rest of the programme. As you say, turns out that was the only explicit scene in the whole thing. RE: Mainstream TV nudity vs babeshow nudity - StanTheMan - 10-02-2011 22:03 BBC4, tonight at midnight - The Fig Leaf: The Biggest Cover-up in History. The EPG states it contains "Sexual content". Didn't see it when it when out at it's original time, 21:00 - 22:00, a full hour before the Nudity Watershed Ofcom impose on the babeshows. RE: Mainstream TV nudity vs babeshow nudity - Scottishbloke - 10-02-2011 22:06 He did have a massive one but to be fair it was tiny in comparison to what you would see in a German porn movie or better than that a women being fucked by a horse, now that's big. RE: Mainstream TV nudity vs babeshow nudity - eccles - 10-02-2011 23:34 Noticed an ad twice tonight for a Renault featuring Dita von Tease going topless (back view). Is that allowed? Is that allowed? Not during daytime viewing hours, it would seem. "A racy car advertisement, featuring busty burlesque star Dita Von Teese and peppered with cameos from Rihanna and French soccer ace Thierry Henry, has been banned from broadcast on daytime TV in the UK."(http://www.popcrunch.com/dita-von-teese-commercial-banned/ 7/2/11) Boooo. This is getting ridiculous - random fines and bans going out willy-nilly with absolutely no continuity! What about all those perfume and shower gel adverts with half naked women?? |
