RE: Haye v Wladimir Klitschko its on - mitchell - 03-07-2011 13:30 I've just seen the ring entrances (The fight is FREE on SBO) that lasted about the same time as a 10 round fight. What the hell was all that about, it was totally pointless & an absolute shambles & a great representation of what was to come. I've lost touch with boxing over the last two or three years to MMA so can anyone tell me where the next big box office fight is coming from, I mean on the world stage not Amir Khan over here??? That suggests that the rest of the crowd were German? I don't know if those figures are correct, but it was certainly the British who made the most noise. Anyway I see Haye's talking about a rematch now. Klitschko says he wouldn't mind, as he has no other opponent lined up and because of the general lack of good opposition he doesn't know where his next fight's going to come from. He went the distance with Klitschko and no matter people can say that. It's just a pity he built up expectations with all the talk beforehand, otherwise the fight could have been seen as a decent outcome for him. What was all the diving for though? I haven't seen that in boxing before. Was it an attempt to con the referee into thinking that Klitschko was fouling him? RE: Haye v Wladimir Klitschko its on - lovebabes56 - 03-07-2011 19:59 I thought that although Haye was beaten I think he knew he fought osmeone who was better than him. If he's stayed at cruiserweight he would have totally cleaned up and retired lot earlier. I don't think he should fight him again. Would Tyson Fury ever get in the ring with Klitschko? I doubt it. Good British heavyweight boxers are a bit thin on the ground so to speak. And as for his broken toe excuse? Why the hell didn't he pull out of the fight, the minute it happened? RE: Haye v Wladimir Klitschko its on - cosmonaut - 04-07-2011 08:35 Vlad's gone cool on the rematch idea. Although he appeared to offer Haye a rematch at first he's now distanced himself from the idea. I'm not sure it would be worthwhile for Haye anyway, not because he'd probably lose again, but because he doesn't have a title now, so he's not in a position to demand a 50-50 split of any deal. RE: Haye v Wladimir Klitschko its on - lovebabes56 - 04-07-2011 08:41 Just saw Haye on BBC. he now admits that he shouldn't have mentioned the 'toe'!! RE: Haye v Wladimir Klitschko its on - lovebabes56 - 04-07-2011 08:43 btw how many people on here did go to the pub to see the fight?
