PMs is the private messaging service, so we can correspond with each other off-line and everybody else doesn't have to put up with reading our drivel (and also, it means that you can contact the babes who come on here and if they want to they can reply to you personally without disclosing any of their personal details SmileSmile ).

Go into your user profile and on the left hand side you will see "edit options". One of the boxes says something like "allow or enable private messaging". Just tick the box, save the changes and the PM symbol will come up in the bottom left hand corner of your posts (you can enable e-mails in the same way if you wish).

ps: oh, and there's also a useful option of "notify me if I get a PM" so tick that box as well!
