robert singer (exc.pro.) has planned a cliffhanger ending for season 7. normally cw announce which shows are renewed or cancelled towards the end of april.

season 4 was the weakest of the 7. 6 and 7 have returned to what it was like in season 1 and 2 with them hunting the baddies at the same time trying to bring down the boss baddy.

Supernatural gone on a break and will be back on the 20th April and ending to the last Ep can't till the next one after just seeing the next trailer. Smile.

Looks like this piece of news pretty much confirms that it will be back for a 8th season, Deadline reports that Sera Gamble, who'd been serving as co-showrunner on the series for the past two years, is stepping down and will be replaced by Jeremy Carver.
This will mark Carver's return to Supernatural - he wrote for the series for several years before leaving for Being Human. Gamble will be leaving Supernatural to focus on developing new series.

i miss the impala. i hope they have it for the last couple of episodes of season7 and for the entire season 8.
