Big debate on show tonight(Sunday 10th August) with Raven and Dave Bradshaw debating the legacy of ECW and whether it was entirely good for pro wrestling with regard to some of the hardcore matches it popularised

^ As far as THAT debate goes, I tend to side with the theory popularized by Jim Cornette- ECW did far more harm to the 'biz' than people recognise. Or choose to recognise. The fact that ECW was besieged with more drugs and alcohol than ANY other promotion ever, largely because of the taxing, needlessly stupid & elaborate bumps they were booked to take in their matches. Plus, hardly any of the wrestlers in ECW seemed to know how to sell. Completely nullified the matches.
