England win by 7 wickets,Ashwin remained stranded on 91 not out.India 247 all out set England a target of 41.at ono stage they fell to 8-3 before a knock of 28 from Bell saw them home.

Nice that Ian Bell could make a few runs at the end. It was a thoroughly good team performance from England. Lets hope for a repeat performance in Nagpur

Finn is an injury doubt with a back strain.If he fails a late fitness test,expect a safety first policy with Bresnan to come in ahead of Onions or a debut for Meaker.

England finally win the toss 7 bat.61-2 Lunch.Bresnan in for Finn,Root in for Patel.India Jadeja In for Yuvraj,Chawla in for Zaheer Khan.

Joe Root. I've never understood how the selectors rated so highly: however this morning he has managed the Indian spinners brilliantly.
Joe is currently 67 not out in England's total of 277-7.

'Cos he can bat all day when he's 'in the zone'.Doesn't score runs rapidly generally but has his moments now and then,very good 'team player'.Only 22years old I think ,tipped for a big future by a lot of people .
Oh and he's a Yorkshireman!

After being 139/5 just after tea yesterday, England should be pretty happy with reaching 330 all out.
