He could end up getting longer, as the sentence has been appealed for being too lenient.

thing is under the old laws it proberly wasnt too lenient its the fact that most had to be run cocurrently just dont like this serving half bollocks

So if things don't get reported you claim it's because there's a cover up, and if they do get reported it's just people jumping on a bandwagon.

The problem is that he can only be sentenced under the law as it was at the time.
It would be a very dangerous precedent if laws could be changed and applied retrospectively no matter how heinous the case.
