Yeah, Hanley Ramirez is swinging the bat well at the moment. And it's good to see Matt Kemp looking healthy. My Tigers are gonna have a tricky series with yours Mike.

well Dodgers and Tigers both won 1 each in 10 innings after blowing a lead in 9th Inning so am reasonable pleased

Scrappy couple of games. But enjoyable. The dangerous Yankees beat their bitter rivals the Red Sox last night. And the ever superb Washington pitcher Stephen Strasburg pitched a stunner- 12 strikeouts too !

Happy that Clayton Kershaw is back, threw 7 scoreless innings for Dodgers in first game after 6 weeks on DL.

I'm sure Mike would've been chiffed with the no-hitter Josh Beckett threw a couple of nights ago. Incredibly another Dodger pitcher- Hyun-Jin Ryu almost topped that the next night. Through seven innings he was pitching a perfect game ! Alas, it was broken up. But the Dodgers won again. As they did last night too, on the back of another gem of a pitching display, this time from, my NL Cy Young award winning tip, Zack Grienke.

Still loving my MLB.TV subscription despite Cubs seemingly playing a different game to the rest of the league. I highly recommend MLB.TV, the iPad app is pretty fucking sweet

Noticed Colorado Rockies are 28-31-1 when did baseball introduce draws into the game?

RE: Baseball - Robot Devil - 08-06-2014 12:11

I think that '1' was because of a suspended game against San Francisco last month. They called it during the sixth inning at 2-2. So instead of replaying the game it counts as a tie.
