Not sure what to make of the ball being changed,it's like they are being accused of ball tampering without any proof.

I don't see how anyone can tamper with the ball these days, with all the TV cameras around the ground. How would it be possible? Maybe the ball was changed because every England throw to the keeper or the bowler arrived on the bounce to get the ball softer and perhaps the umpires don't like that sneaky ploy.

Joe Root to return to England due to broken thumb. Unclear at this stage if he will be available for World T20 starting in mid March. Source BBC sport.

With a little over 2 weeks before the 1st World T20 match it doesn't look good for Root. You would expect Bell to be named as a replacement in the squad, but Root overs of spin will be missed as he was being lined up for a role in their bowling plans. Also the way he worked the ball around was impressive with 49 singles in his 100.

Thanks. I'm not sure how I missed that one.

I do, for some reasons a lot of websites had it down as 2 T20's.

Important preparation 20/20 series against the West Indies ahead of the World T20.
If England can string some more wins together then confidence may breed more good results.
Broad did well as captain in the one day series against the Windies imo.

The shorter the game the more it favours the West Indies style of play. One good performance can win a game & we have the Chris Gayle factor to contend with.

The 18th over was a disaster for England. Samuels is dropped off the first ball and it's a real clanger by Tredwell. Samuels then hits the other 5 balls of Dernbach's over to the boundary for 20 off the over. Rolleyes End of the 18th over and West Indies are 152/3.
