Remove Bresnan and I would not complain too much Bounce But on seeing that Boycott would be so excited he would probably have a heart attack Tongue

Day 3
Yorkshire 178 & 416 Ballance 130 Finn 4-89
Middlesex 123 & 230-1 Rogers 122 not out Robson 77
Middlesex require another 242 runs with 9 wickets remaining

Fascinating match which has swung one way, then the other. How many more twists to come on the final day.Yorkshire looked to be in command with Middlesex faced with an unlikely 472 to chase, but a 181 opening stand between Rogers & Robson have brought the target within reach,& must be favourites to go on & win.

Thanks for clarifying that amazing victory as some sources were saying highest run chase in modern county championship history (which I assumed meant the 4 day version).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Ryan Sidebottom had retired from international cricket back at the end of the 2010 season?

RE: English County Cricket Season 2014 - Boomerangutangangbang - 01-05-2014 20:46

Your right,he did, that's why it's my fantasy Test side.Saying that Jason Gillespie believes that he retired too early from International Cricket & he could still do a job.
England's latest left-arm quick is Notts Harry Gurney.
