No complaints about the result for Chicago this evening. Detroit were the better team for 3 of the 4 quarters and their defence shut down chicago's very explosive offense apart from the 1st quarter. Thrm Detroit our scored Chicago 31-3 to win 34-17

Back to reality for Oakland Raiders after their 1st win of season this week St Louis Rams beat them 52-0

Unfortunately I think the cowboys record flatters them somewhat. They have looked pretty ordinary most of the season. Apart from against Seattle and Jacksonville they have not looked convincing. San Francisco, Arizona and Philadelphia beat them with a lot to spare.

The numbers don't lie, They are one of the better teams although tonight's win against a team like the Bears won't really prove a lot, but when they play the better teams they more than often get the job done..

Hold your horses Fernandez, the bears game today hasn't even kicked off yet and doesn't till about 1:30am tomorrow morning. The bears are more than capable of beating the cowboys, especially at Chicago at this time of year. They have one of the best running backs in the league (matt forte) and one of the best wide reciever tandems in the NFL (Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey). The bears defence has been dissapointing this year which I wasn't expecting given the revamp the bears gave it in the offseason.

Since the bears are at home tonight, think they have a very good chance of winning tonight. The bears d is banged up though, missing several key players so it will be very tough for Chicago

You are right Fenandez the numbers don't lie. The only really decent team the Cowboys beat were Seattle. Arizona, Philadelphia, and San Francisco are three of the better teams and they beat the cowboys with a lot to spare.
The fact that cowboys have been scraping through against mediocre opposition can be seen in two ways. They know how to grind out a win, or they have been riding their luck and are ripe for a good hiding. I hope it's the former.

@rammy you are right in the sense that cowboys have been beaten by lesser teams than the Bears such as the redskins. On the other hand they have not lost on the road this season. All their losses were at home. Either way this month is a chance for Romo to step up and break his traditional December slump and lead us into the playoffs.

I thought the bears rallied very well towards the end of the game. Their offence did them proud, especially considering Brandon Marshall was out for most of the game. It's just their defence looked powder puff. Murray is a good running back but he is no Barry Sanders which the bears made him look through their inept defence.

I still think this victory has left more questions than answers. I feel that a team with a very strong defence and an offence that can get it done will have us in a lot of trouble. We still make mistakes that let other teams back In and our defence do make me think that a class quarterback would have a Field day against us.
Considering we have Andrew Luck to come against us down the straight I'm still not resting easy.
