Yes Pakistan did win the twenty20 world cup and they deserved it as they played good twenty20 cricket all round particularly Shahid Afridi A.K.A. Boom Boom scored some useful runs.

Afridi was the man of the tournament for me, especially for his bowling.

Looks like Michael Vaughan might be playing his final match today. He's reported to be retiring following his omission from the Ashes squad.

Thats a real shame. He's the best captain i've seen for England and when in form, he was one of the classiest batsmen to watch.

Sadly he's never been the same since his last injury. He's got a lot of business interests and he may pop up on Sky's coverage this summer.

hi guys , i have just noticed this thread. i absolutely love cricket and that might surprise a lot of people being scottish. (we are crap). i support england and would love to see them win back the ashes, i also like india and sri lanka, very attacking teams, but i not too fond of australia and south africa.
i have had some experience playing cricket for my local team motherwell cc , it was a great experience and one i enjoyed very much. keep this great thread going guys, cheers.

My team India were abysmal yesterday we were struggling at 82/8 in just 22 overs although a good innings by MS Dhoni he got 95 as we posted a score of 188 all out in 48.1 overs but fair play to the West Indies Ravi Rampaul was on fire he got 4/37 of 10 overs.

India beat West Indies by 6 wickets on a rain interrupted match in St Lucia.

West Indies 186/7 off 27 overs

India 159/4 of 21.5 overs

It is also the first test in Galle between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka 292 all out in 81 overs

Pakistan 15/2 in 7 overs
