RE: ICC Champions Trophy 2017 - Charlemagne - 13-06-2017 06:52 A good come back by Pakistan saw them come through against Sri Lanka by 3 wickets RE: ICC Champions Trophy 2017 - Snooks - 13-06-2017 07:03 Semi Final 1 - Cardiff England v Pakistan - Wednesday Semi Final 2 - Edgbaston India v Bangladesh - Thursday RE: ICC Champions Trophy 2017 - Charlemagne - 14-06-2017 06:35 Jason Roy has been dropped by England and replaced by Jonny Bairstow RE: ICC Champions Trophy 2017 - lovebabes56 - 14-06-2017 07:15 Let's hope it is a positive move Bairstow in for Roy - a sniff of a 50 over trophy for quite a while if we beat Pakistan RE: ICC Champions Trophy 2017 - Charlemagne - 14-06-2017 10:56 Pakistan won the toss and asked England to bat Currently 96-2 off 21 overs RE: ICC Champions Trophy 2017 - William H Bonney - 14-06-2017 13:08 The decision to play Bairstow instead of Roy was the right one, as Roy has been lucky to stay in the side for this long. Bairstow got 43 today too, although his innings was one of the few bright spots for England on a day when Pakistan always seemed to have the England batsmen under control. England's faltering innings eventually reached 211, being bowled out in 49.5 overs, with Root top score with 46. RE: ICC Champions Trophy 2017 - straw man - 14-06-2017 13:21 So England make 211 all out after being 127/2 at the 27 over mark, therefore making only 84 from the last 23 overs available. RE: ICC Champions Trophy 2017 - Charlemagne - 14-06-2017 21:26 Pakistan reach the total for the loss of just 2 wickets 215/2 in he 37th over RE: ICC Champions Trophy 2017 - Snooks - 14-06-2017 21:30 Bad day at the office all round for England. Never really got their game going at all. One of those days unfortunately. But England have improved immeasurably since the last World Cup in ODI cricket. A shame about today but the future looks bright in ODI terms imo. RE: ICC Champions Trophy 2017 - hops1 - 14-06-2017 21:34 Yeah, a disappointing end to the tournament for England, but still so much improved from the World Cup....on to 2019! |
